Why, according to Wiesel, is it still important to learn and talk about the Holocaust?

- Circle details that describe the Hangman and, on the side, make a note about what those details connote (imply or suggest)
- Highlight each person the Hangman hangs, and write to the side WHY each person is being hanged, if a reason is given.
- Underline the bystanders’ responses each time he hangs someone.
- Put a box around words/phrases that are used to build the mood of the poem. (There should be a LOT of boxes when you’re done — I found 17 mood markers; how many can you find?)
